SEB Riga is building a brand-new Analytics team and is looking for talented Java developers to join on an exciting journey. You will help create analytics solutions for payments and account data, using Java with Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Storage/BigQuery. As a developer on the team, you’ll be involved in the entire development lifecycle: shaping architecture, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure tools. The role is hybrid and located in Riga, Latvia.

About the role:
We're building a brand-new Analytics team in Riga, and we’re looking for talented developers to join us on an exciting journey!
This team will work in one of the bank’s key focus areas – handling payments, accounts, and all related services. We’re now creating entirely new analytics solutions for analyzing payments and account data. Our tech stack includes Java, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Storage / Big Query.
As a developer on our team, you'll be involved in the entire development lifecycle, including: Shaping solution architecture Designing, coding, testing, and deploying new systems Collaborating closely with teammates to build scalable, secure, and maintainable tools
Must have-skills: Several years of experience in developing Java applications, writing efficient and maintainable code Experience in cloud technologies (Preferably GCP or any other major cloud platform) Willingness to learn and grow within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem Great communication skills and fluency in English as work execution is related to foreign countries.
Nice to have-skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes

3.300 € - 4.750 € a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
