This Application Support Analyst role sits within a regional banking operations team that oversees US-based real-time payment applications connected to Fedwire and Chips. You will provide technical and functional (level 2/3) support, solve production issues, and build automated monitoring tools and reports. You will participate in post-deployment testing, build new features, and help improve CI/CD practices, while coordinating with stakeholders and adhering to ITIL and regulatory requirements. The position requires at least 3 years in related support roles and offers a hybrid on-site/remote arrangement in Montreal with shift/on-call rotation.
This is a central and dynamic position, and you will be part of a regional diverse team that oversees US based real-time payment applications that are directly connected to Fedwire and Chips. There are currently 6 members on this team including your manager: 3 Java Developers and 2 Production Support Analysts. In this role you will gain in-depth exposure to both the business and technology aspects of our Payment team.<\/p>

In this role, you will oversee the following missions:<\/p>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Providing technical and functional support (level 2 and 3) for our Payment applications, solving production system issues and reporting incidents to the appropriate chain of command.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Developing applications to automate manual operational tasks as well as build custom, real-time, monitoring tools and reports.\u00a0
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Performing post-deployment testing of new releases (quality assurance).\u00a0
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Building and developing new features.\u00a0

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>
Competencies:
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At least 3 years in an Application Support \/ Production Support \/ DevOps Support position.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0University degree in computer science, DEC or equivalent technical Certifications
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex work environment.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Given the nature of our business, ability to work under pressure.

Technical Must Have:
