Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments and contribute to large-scale strategic planning. Design, code, test, debug, and document projects related to platform integration, including upgrades and deployments. Review complex technical challenges, resolve issues, and provide direction to a team while collaborating with peers and stakeholders. Drive in-sprint automation and production support, and act as an escalation point for the project team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10+ years of software engineering with deep platform/system integration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or equivalent with the ability to work across multiple stacks.
  • Hands on expertise in:
    • REST/GraphQL API engineering
    • Integration frameworks and patterns
    • Kafka/RabbitMQ/event driven systems
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, NiFi, etc.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, and distributed data experience.
  • Experience deploying solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP/OCP.
  • Strong grounding in Git, CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, encryption, certificates, and secure network patterns.
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with enterprise modernization/transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with API gateways, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and distributed tracing.
  • Agile experience and exposure to scaled agile models.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • Expertise with CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins, pipelines-as-code) and SDLC automation.
  • Experience contributing to or managing large-scale frameworks across multiple programming languages.
  • Exposure to GenAI integrations in engineering workflows (e.g., Copilot extensibility, automated code remediation).
    Knowledge of cloud-native design (Kubernetes, containers, service mesh).
  • Familiarity with developer portal ecosystems, plugin systems, or IDP integrations.
    Background in platform engineering, technical risk management, or architecture functions.

  • Motivate team members and promote a strong sense of support, ownership and urgency 
  • Facilitate communications within the team and facilitate knowledge sharing amongst the team and other personnel. 
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, Analysts and any other stakeholders as needed
