About this role

We are seeking an experiencedFull Stack Engineering Leaderwith a strong background in.NET,React/TypeScript, and a proventrack recordof leading high-performing engineering teams.

The VP will play a pivotal role in shaping and deliveringeFrontInsight Core, our flagship Private Markets data and analytics platform. This platform is central to our Data Collection business and increasinglyleveragesAI and GenAI technologiesto deliver smarter insights, automation, and enhanced user experiences.

As part ofBlackRock’seFrontdivision, you will drive innovation in Private Markets technology, lead strategic initiatives, and mentor engineering squads to achieve excellence in software delivery and AI adoption.

Technologies and Concepts involved:

  • C# / .NET

  • React / TypeScript

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Services

  • Cloud-First applications, micro-services architecture (AKS)

  • AI/ML integration for data enrichment, predictive analytics, and automation

  • GenAI modules for intelligent document processing and conversational interfaces

Additionalbeneficial experience:

  • Python (for AI/ML workflows)

  • Elasticsearch

  • AzureCosmosDB

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Kubernetes

  • Familiarity withAI frameworks(TensorFlow,PyTorch) orAzure AI services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams and squads, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.

  • Drive thedesign and delivery of AI-enhanced features, leveraging GenAI and ML models to improve data quality, automate workflows, and deliver predictive insights.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of SaaS product development, including production monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimization on cloud platforms.

  • Define and enforce best practices forCI/CD, automated testing, and scalable architecture.

  • Partner with product and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with Private Markets industry trends and client needs.

  • ChampionAI adoption across engineering processes, including code generation, testing automation, and intelligent data pipelines.

Crucial Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least3+ yearsinleadership roles(team lead, squad lead, or project manager).

  • DeepexpertiseinC#/.NETandReact/TypeScript; Python experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding ofcloud-native architecturesandAzure services.

  • Proven ability tolead complex projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions at scale.

  • Experience integratingAI/ML solutionsinto enterprise applications; familiarity with GenAI concepts is highly valued.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across technical and business teams.
