We’re seeking a future team member for the role of AEM PUBLISHER/FRONT-END SPECIALIST (VP) to join our digital marketing. This is a role in New York, NY.
This role blends hands-on content publishing in AEM with front-end development skills to ensure high-quality, visually compelling web experiences. You’ll work closely with web designers, digital experience managers, developers and marketers to publish content, build templates, and ensure UX/UI standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Publish, update, and maintain web content using AEM.
- Develop and enhance AEM templates, components and page layouts with attention to responsive design, performance and usability.
- Translate UX/UI designs into functional front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines, accessibility, and SEO best practices during publishing workflows.
- Troubleshoot layout, rendering and integration issues across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, UX, marketing and engineering to deliver seamless digital experiences.
- Maintain documentation for publishing standards, front-end implementations, and AEM governance.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 3-5+ years of experience working with AEM in a publishing or content management role.
- Solid proficiency in front-end technologies: HMTL5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive web design.
- Experience building or modifying AEM templates and components.
- Ability to translate design mocks/prototypes into clean, standards-compliant front-end code.
- Strong understanding of web UX/UI principals, accessibility standards, and SEO fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, time management and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with DAM asset management, metadata tagging, and version control.
- Preferred experience with Workfront and agile/scrum development.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $130,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
