Collaborate with business experts to gather and understand key IT requirements for an IT solution. Design and document a robust software architecture with your developer colleagues. Implement the requirements using a TypeScript/NodeJS boilerplate, and ensure clean, reusable code with clear documentation and automated tests. Take shared responsibility for the code repository and help advance the CI/CD pipeline.

Your tasks

  • Collaborating with business experts to gather and understand the key requirements for an IT solution.
  • Designing and documenting a robust software architecture together with your developer colleagues.
  • As part of the development team, you will be implementing the requirements using our custom-developed boilerplate based on TypeScript/NodeJS.
  • Ensuring clean, reusable code, providing clear documentation, and creating automated test cases.
  • Taking shared responsibility for the code repository, assisting in merging various development branches, and contributing to the further development of our CI/CD pipeline.

Your profile

  • Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid general understanding of IT systems, architectures, and communication technologies.
  • Extensive programming experience in TypeScript, including common frameworks and tools (NodeJS, Nest, Axios, React, NPM, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration (OpenShift).
  • Experience with modeling in relational and document-based database systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Interest in or practical experience with agile working methods.
  • High level of initiative and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Strong communication skills towards customers, colleagues and steakholders
  • The ability to integrate into a team of diverse cultures and skillsets
  • Confidence, service orientation as well as strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • German language skills are advantageous.
