Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

The Requirements Engineer is responsible for solution design as a whole in complex project environments (e.g., transformational programs).
Work includes:

  • Identifying the full range of business requirements and translating requirements into specific functional and technical specifications for solution development and implementation
  • Analyzing business requirements and the associated impacts of the changes
  • Designing and assisting businesses in developing optimal target state business processes
  • Creating and executing against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation
  • Answering questions of methodological approach with varying levels of complexity
  • Aligning with other key stakeholder groups (such as Project Management & Software Engineering) to support the link between the business division

Responsibilities:

  • Work within an agile software development team as a Senior Business Functional Analyst with the focus on Online & Mobile banking and equivalent applications, that are highly visible to customers and relevant to the Deutsche Bank’s reputation.
  • You will be working in close contact with the Product Owner and the development team, and you will be responsible to clarify open requirements with the different stakeholders.
  • You will be proactively analyzing complex features and prepare them for the development considering all technical and business requirements.
  • You understand the upcoming scope and can structure it by creating user stories and documentations. By finding the right solutions you will always consider our target picture and architecture.
  • With having the customer in focus, you are quickly clarifying all open technical or business questions and are proactively improving the product itself.
  • Besides the classical analysis you are driving the technical analysis as well as architectural discussions. You are supporting on UAT testing and releases.

Skills:

  • Broad experience (also practical) in requirements engineering for large-scale IT solutions as part of scrum teams (working directly with the engineers)
  • Broad experience (also practical) in detailing and creation of User Stories as well as concepts and specifications for agile delivery teams. Previous experience working as a Product Owner in agile teams is required, working in scaled agile environments is a plus
  • Good analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
  • Ability to stay calm and maintain a high level of quality even in the critical phases of a project
  • Technical affine and possess knowledge about microservice architectures, JavaScript applications and GCP / cloud solutions.
  • Experience in working with Jira and Confluence and agile working methods.
  • Experience in PSD2 / 2FA especially with TAN procedures / digitale Signatures, OAuth, OpenIDconnect, Fido2.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, German is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Retail Banking IT, esp. the core domain Frontends & Channels and Cloud Knowhow
