Principal Full Stack Developer – Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations Technology Group

The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in front and middle tier development, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer base.

The Team

Our team builds outstanding experiences for Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations customers. We focus on crafting rich and compelling experiences using the best application design guidelines by way of robust tooling to provide business process management via workflow technology for all our operations service lines. We work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are committed to advancing a digital strategy to the delight of our internal and external customers.

  • Experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks including generative ai developer assist tools

  • Up-to-date on Algorithms, Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec.

  • Are data-driven and can measure, collect and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.

  • Have great communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.

The Skills You Bring

  • UX Proficiency with any major Javascript/TypeScript framework (Angular, React etc.)

  • 7+ years of Experience working with EKS deployed applications in AWS

  • 7+ years of experience with API and Middleware messaging streaming and publish/subscribe components using Spring Boot, Kafka, AMQP or other similar messaging infrastructure

  • 3+ years of experience with Test Automation Tools/Frameworks (Cypress, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor) or other tools to automate testing for UI & Service applications

  • 1+ Years experience leveraging generative AI developer assist technologies such as Co-Pilot or ChatGPT

  • Proficient with designing, deploying and maintaining cloud-ready containerized applications

  • Proficient with DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery and comfortable leading change management practices

  • Familiar with building highly scalable and resilient applications

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies
