As a Software Engineer in Azure Experience & Ecosystems Engineering team, you will build the Microsoft Learn product which will positively impact how people experience Microsoft's technology. You will be responsible for building Content and Learning experiences through constant innovation, design, and implementing state-of-the-art systems. - Works with product management, design and data analyst teams to determine user requirements for a feature. - Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight. - With guidance, learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable. - Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation. - Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in monitoring system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions for simple problems, and recommends actions to restore system/product/service by following the playbook. - Reviews current developments and proactively seeks new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience. - 1+ years of professional experience in cloud service development using one or more of these technologies: Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), .NET, Node.js, Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interfaces (REST APIs). - 1+ year(s) of demonstrated problem-solving, design, and debugging skills, with a passion for quality, performance, and engineering excellence. Other Requirements: - Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: - Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and asynchronous workflows. - Proficiency with agent-based systems, workflow engines, or declarative programming models is highly desirable. - Demonstrated ability with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT or Claude Sonnet.
