Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow workflows, automations, and integrations with internal and external systems. The role requires extensive experience (8+ years) in ServiceNow, JavaScript, web technologies, data modeling/ETL and working with SDLC/Agile practices, and includes leveraging AI tools, building integrations, creating technical documentation, and supporting testing and platform operations.
Millennium is looking to hire a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow team focusing on system automation, workflow development, and integrations with internal and external applications. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with ServiceNow workflows, system integrations, orchestration, databases/data modeling, AI tools, SDLC methodology, Agile/SCRUM, development methodologies, test cases, test execution and reporting.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop new ServiceNow workflows and automation from business requirements and/or technical design documents
Integrate systems to support workflow automation
Leverage AI tools and technologies to integrate with ServiceNow platform data
Develop and manage platform code, user interface, and third-party integration components
Build data flows via ETL and proper data modeling
Maintain consistent delivery of application solutions throughout the product suite by following development standards and the architecture framework
Work with stakeholders to design scalable solutions that meet business requirements and can be easily maintained
Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact the testing schedule and projects
Coordinate/facilitate load testing and performance testing activities for our platform
Develop necessary development documentation as needed (e.g. technical design, developer notes, etc.)
Participate in daily operations of ServiceNow team
Qualifications/Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 8 years of ServiceNow development experience
8+ years of JavaScript development experience
8+ years of Web technology experience (REST, Web Services, XML, Ajax, Python)
3+ years of SQL and database experience
Experience with the Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) module
Experience with Source Control Software – GitHub
Experience using AI tools and technologies
Experience with the SDLC including Requirements Analysis, Design, Installation, Development, Testing (application code and user acceptance), and Deployment
Strong technical documentation skills
Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
Attention to detail and strong ownership of work
ITIL Certification is a plus
