JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The challenge

The Adobe Stock organization is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Content Acquisition team.

As the backbone of Adobe Stock and Adobe Firefly, our systems power the acquisition and fulfillment of millions of images, videos, and creative assets at scale. We build and operate backend‑heavy platforms that must be reliable, performant, and evolvable.

We’re looking for engineers who enjoy owning critical systems, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to high‑impact products used by creators worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Own critical platform capabilities that power content management and internal operations, from technical design and implementation through production and long‑term scalability.
  • Contribute to frontend development when appropriate to support end‑to‑end feature delivery and high‑quality user experiences.
  • Act as a technical reference within the team by reviewing code, sharing best practices, and helping raise overall engineering standards.
  • Influence team processes and technical decisions to improve delivery reliability and development velocity.

Keys to your success

  • Strong PHP backend skills with experience building and owning backend‑heavy systems, plus enough frontend proficiency in React to contribute effectively when needed.
  • Ability to own projects end‑to‑end, from technical design through production delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership as an individual contributor, such as leading initiatives or driving technical change.
  • A Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent five-year degree.
  • 5+ years of professional Software Development experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

Adobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on gender, race or color, ethnicity or national origin, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other applicable characteristics protected by law. Learn more.

Adobe aims to make Adobe.com accessible to any and all users. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation to navigate our website or complete the application process, email accommodations@adobe.com or call (408) 536-3015.
