THE ROLE: As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors. THE PERSON: A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up Develop debug tools for customer issues triage and analysis. Optimize the debug tools analysis flow for better user experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Ruby script Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines.
