Work with global cross functional team on test program development and validation, improve the test strategy and improve test efficiency like test time and test coverages. Step into the testing issues with detail analysis to address the root cause and drive the solutions with cross team. THE PERSON: Good at communication with fluent English, clear 2-3 years self-career plan and strong self-learning, initiative and patience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Program ownership to support official and engineering program release Test methodology optimization and improvement for test coverage Production issue analysis and root cause address with solution for yield improvement Test failures analysis and drive for opportunities for yield improvement Test time reduction to support cost saving BKM management and implementation Process improvement PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experienced with platform or software validation Preferred EE/BIOS/Firmware engineering work experience Experienced with test program development and enhancement Experienced with (x86) computer hardware architecture Good at Java and python/ruby Familiar with Linux system ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred Major: Electronics & Electrical, Automation, Computer science LOCATION: Hsinchu #LI-IH1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
