As a Server Board Functional Validation Engineer, you will validate the functionality and reliability of server boards at the board level. You will develop and execute comprehensive functional validation plans and test suites, covering CPU, memory, PCIe/CXL, storage, and networking interfaces. You will collaborate with hardware design, BIOS/BMC firmware, and system integration teams to identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions, while also automating test cases and building tools to improve efficiency. This role contributes to delivering robust, high-performance server products for data center and enterprise applications.

THE ROLE As a Server Board Functional Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating the functionality and reliability of server platforms at the board level. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure that server boards meet design specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with hardware design, BIOS/BMC Firmware, and system integration teams to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive solutions. Your work will directly contribute to delivering robust and high-performance server products for data center and enterprise applications. THE PERSON We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for hardware validation. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of server architecture and board-level components, combined with experience in functional validation and debugging. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across hardware, firmware, and system teams, and driving issues to closure. A mindset for continuous improvement and automation is highly valued. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain comprehensive functional validation plans for server boards and related subsystems. Execute validation tests covering CPU, memory, PCIe/CXL, storage, and networking interfaces. Perform root cause analysis for hardware and firmware issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems. Automate test cases and improve validation efficiency through scripting and custom tools. Document test procedures, results, and provide clear reports to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement in validation processes and methodologies. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience in server platform validation or board-level bring-up. Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, system integration). Understanding of data center requirements and server deployment scenarios. Ability to develop and execute functional test plans for complex server boards.
