Support the ALM Hub in Madrid by delivering Strategy Asset Allocation analyses under the guidance of ALM Senior Analysts. You will handle asset and liability data, extract reports and economic capital information from AWA, and run the Sunrise projection tool ensuring robust results. You will learn to use Sunrise and the existing ALM tools in Python, collaborate on tool development, and identify process improvements and potential AI enhancements for the ALM workflow.

Within the Group, you will join the xxx department [add a short description here] Within this Department, you will be part of the team xxx [add a short description here] GIA - ALM Hub-Madrid MISSION: Provide support to ALM Senior Analysts involved in the delivery of Strategy Asset Allocation analyses. It will mainly involve the following activities: • Deal with Asset and Liability information and be able to treat the data and extract different reports. • Extract economic capital information from AWA. • Run Sunrise projection tool, assuring the robustness of the results obtained. • Interact with other members of the ALM Hub team. Support the development of the Sunrise projection tool in line with the guidelines received from the Responsible of ALM tools. Identify and challenge areas of improvement of the ALM process. Seek ways to implement AI into the process. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Participate in the delivery of ALM analyses supporting ALM senior analysts. • Learn how to use the Sunrise projection tool, with the objective of being able to run the models and make changes in the code. • Learn how to use the existing ALM tools in Python. • Participate in collaboration with the responsible of ALM tools in the development of the projection tool. YOUR PROFILE: Level of Education Required: • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics. • Master in Quantitative Finance. • The candidate should have working experience in L&S or P&C (from 2-4 years). • Experience in EEV and/or economic capital calculations. • General knowledge in L&S or P&C products and financial markets. • Experience in the use of AI. • Good level of communication in English is a must (spoken and written). Technical skills required: • Strong analytical skills. • Knowledge of pricing instruments. • Programming skills, with good knowledge of Python. • Good level of Excel. • Understanding of finance concepts and of the insurance business (Life, Health, P&C, assets & liabilities, reinsurance); ability to understand actuarial practices (reserves, IFRS, EEV, Solvency II). Soft skills required: • Proactive and team worker. Focused in integrity and accuracy of the results, as well as willing to receive continuous learning of actuarial and financial concepts. • Ability to a work in a multicultural environment with people with diverse backgrounds and cultures. • Ability to build an effective and trust-based relationship with all entities & Group correspondents. • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining excellent attention to quality. • Open to give and receive continuous feedback from other members of the team.
