AXA is hiring a Risk & Service Modelling Analyst to develop robust data pipelines and models in Databricks using Python, and to produce datasets and insights related to service, operations, complaints, and key risk metrics. You’ll support the design and development of scalable data models, write efficient code, and help produce datasets related to service, operations, complaints, and key risk metrics. Key responsibilities: Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and models in Databricks using Python Work closely with Risk Visualisation Analysts to help ensure models are easy to use and provide valuable insights Support the team to follow technical standards, best coding practices and version control procedures Gain knowledge in risk and conduct-related data and reporting Help to deliver reports and insights within agreed timescales Use tools like GIT to track your work and manage version control Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, with guidance from senior team members Keep up to date with new technologies and industry developments to improve your skills and stay current in analytics and cloud computing Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. Your skills & experience: Degree in Maths, Data Science or similar Understanding of Python, ideally with some knowledge of object-oriented programming or experience with GIT version control Understanding or experience with Power BI or similar tools Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and tell a story through your findings Good organisational skills to manage deadlines and multiple tasks Confidence to present your work clearly to different audiences Knowledge of risk, conduct or service functions and reporting Interest understanding of how business operations work and the key metrics that drive insights As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
