Binance is seeking an experienced QA Engineer (mid to senior level) to support testing of its high-performance backend software stack. The role covers the full testing life cycle, from designing tests to scripting and executing automated solutions in a distributed system environment. Responsibilities include manual investigation of backend issues, identifying coverage gaps, testing unreleased features, and documenting test reports. The position is full-time with hybrid work in the APAC region.

Binance is looking for an experienced QA Engineer (mid to senior level) to support testing of our high-performance backend software stack.
This entails the full life cycle of testing from designing tests to identify and understand issues, developing them into scripts and executing them for future iterations.
This is a full-time position which offers hybrid working in APAC region.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional backend software issues.
- Design, implement, and manage automated solutions to replace manual processes in a distributed system environment.
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage.
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact.
- Documentation and write the test report for above.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend QA engineering experience.
- Full cycle testing from designing manual tests, developing scripts and execution.
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux (must-have).
- Scripting ability using Bash and Python (must-have 3+ years of experience).
- Experience testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services (non-monolithic).
- Good to have additional DevOps knowledge or experience.
- Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'.
- Clear, logical communicator in English.
