Caxton Associates is seeking a Quantitative Research Analyst to work closely with the Portfolio Manager on the Global Macro portfolio (Rates and FX focused). You will build, maintain and improve analytical tools for trade screening, idea generation and portfolio management using Python. You will generate trade ideas across products (Interest Rates and FX – including linear and options) and perform quantitative and fundamental research on various markets, while staying abreast of macro developments and key themes driving markets.

  • Help build, maintain, and improve analytical tools for trade screening, idea generation, and portfolio management (mainly Python)
  • Generate trade ideas across products (Interest Rates and FX – both linear and options)
  • Perform quantitative and fundamental research projects relating to various markets.
  • Keep abreast of macro developments and key themes driving markets.
