Job Overview

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Modeling/Analysis/Validation Senior Group Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Formulate and apply statistical models including regression analysis, time series modeling and predictive analysis to develop and validate models used by Citigroup. Perform model evaluation as per SR11-7 Federal Reserve Bank regulatory guidelines. Assist in model governance and model inventory overview with Inventory and governance teams. Identify, measure, collect, and manage Model Risk for the purposes of Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) modeling, iCAAP & DFAST regulatory exercises and stress modeling. Support team leads on policy enhancements and model evaluations initiatives and further enhance model stress testing guidance. Evaluate model performance as per requirements outlined in the MRM Policies and Guidance related to Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR). Enhance the MRM Policy and Guidance as needed. Collaborate with model sponsors, model developers, model risk supervision groups, internal audit and regulatory agencies to assess for possible risk, perform updates and ensure compliance with regulations. Write validation reports, review Model change addendums, ongoing performance monitoring reports & limitation based remediation documentations based on validator’s judgement of evaluation results. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field and 2 years of experience as a Risk Manager, Analyst, Sr Consultant or related position involving model development and validation for the Finance industry.  Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Time series regression analysis; Financial modeling and risk management; Risk management policy strategy and modeling as per SR11-7, SR-15-18, SR15-19 regulatory guidelines; CCAR/ICAAP/DFAST regulatory model development, model validation and model audit; Model risk management enhancement and governance; SAS, R and Excel programming; and Quantitative analysis and reporting.
