Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
Deutsche Bank’s Global Strategic Analytics combines expertise in quantitative analytics, modeling, pricing and risk management with deep understanding of system architecture and programming. The primary output is a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system with consistent interface to both the Middle Office and Back Office. The consistency in analytics and the technology platform ensures that no arbitrage can exist between various parts of the Bank as well as rational allocation of constrained resources, including risk budget, balance sheet, funding, and capital.

Your key responsibilities:
Contribute to strategic analytic platforms in the bank. Implementing the automation of all PnL processes and existing risk processes and enable appropriate controls (market object, model choice, calibration choice, booking exception policy)
Developing analytic solutions to new pricing and risk demand. Tackle the analytical and mathematical challenges and enhance system efficiency.
Design and implement the solutions to streamlining the existing trading and operational model, from booking, quoting, official valuation and downstream efficiency
Working with other team members to ensure smooth and stable BAU handling and contribute to necessary enhancement
Working in partnership with Trading, Structuring, Finance, Market Risk, Technology and Operations to drive the build-out of strategic analytics platform
Your skills and experience:
For VP Level: Minimum of 5 years of working experience within a quantitative analyst/developer position, ideally within an Investment Banking or Financial services company
For Associate level: Minimum of 3 years of working experience within a quantitative analyst/developer position, ideally within an Investment Banking or Financial services company
Strong quantitative analytic and modelling skills with practical pricing and risk management experience, especially on interest rates, credit and FX derivative (flow and exotics) space
Strong programming skills using Python or C++ in large-scale environment
Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant subject such as Quantitative Finance, Math, Physics or Computer Science with strong Math skills in probability, stochastic calculus, and numerical methods
Strong communication skills allowing for direct communication with trading desks and support functions globally, both written and verbally
