As Research Analyst I in the Chemical Market Analytics (CMA) Market Advisory Services group, you will support market reports, client and conference presentations, and data-driven projects by researching industry data, collecting from associations, and assisting with maintaining the chemical capacity database. You will work with international product experts and other teams, prepare Excel-based visuals and CMS-published reports, and create PowerPoint materials for client meetings. You will gather and maintain data from external sources, help standardize workflows, and report to the VP of R&A, Data and Technical Design. This is a non-union, hybrid role with a salary range of $55,000-$70,000.

About the Role:

As Research Analyst I, you will support the Chemical Market Analytics (CMA) Market Advisory Services group in the publication of market reports, client and conference presentations, project work and other related tasks. You will conduct research and collect data from industry associations and other data providers. You will also assist with maintenance of the chemical capacity database and work closely with teams of international product experts and colleagues from other product areas. You will report to the VP - R&A, Data and Technical Design.

You Will:

  • Interact with clients and provide them with data, information, as well as training on the CMA website and online databases

  • Create and update Microsoft Excel graphs and tables for weekly and monthly market reports

  • Proof-read and format text written for market reports

  • Publish market reports to our website from the content management system (CMS)

  • Create presentation materials in Microsoft Power Point for client meetings and conferences

  • Prepare materials for product expert travel

  • Gather and maintain data from external sources for market analysis

  • Support operations endeavors to improve and maintain work processes and standardization

You Have:

  • Chemical engineering, chemistry, natural science degree, related discipline -OR- equivalent work experience

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel and other MS Office suite programs

  • Python and Power BI experience (a plus)

Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000
