Systematic Hedge Fund

Up to £150k base + excellent bonus + potential sign-on

A successful Systematic Hedge Fund with excellent returns based in Central London is looking for a Python Quant Developer to join their Quantitative Development Team which helps researchers and portfolio managers implementing and optimising their signals and trading algorithms.

Our client has a flat structured, transparent and collaborative environment. You will have plenty of opportunity to grow and have an important impact on the business and PnL.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimise signals and trading algorithms for various PM Teams
  • Build tools for signal generation
  • Work with traders and quants to roll-out, support and run strategies
  • Build and support new quantitative trading framework
  • Design clean architecture and leverage state of the art tools and components
  • Bring new ideas and experimenting with new technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills with Python (including performance optimization)
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience working in a front office environment with researchers and traders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong education background in STEM
