We are working with a relatively new (and wildly successful) systematic hedge fund, launched by the ex-partners of a tier-1 player. Joining this firm presents the opportunity to shape the trajectory of their trading technology, within a close-knit highly collaborative team. You’ll be collaborating closely with researchers, assist in the integration of new datasets, and take ownership of enhancing their reference data systems.

Role: Software Engineer (Python)

Salary: Base up to $300k + bonus

Location: New York (4 days in office)

Tech stack: Python, SQL

Seeking:

• Highly proficient in Python, SQL
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, market data and data vendors
• Ability to design and implement high-performance, scale-able data solutions
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Strong BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science (or other STEM discipline)
