Join FactSet's Hyderabad-based Regulatory Solutions Engineering team to build robust, scalable, cloud-native Python-based systems for sanctions screening, exclusion monitoring, and solvency risk management. You will contribute to design and code reviews, maintain deployed products through their lifecycle, and participate in on-call rotations. Expect to work across multiple projects, quickly learn new skills, and focus on enhancements, stability, and performance while collaborating closely with the team lead. Strong Python experience (Pandas, NumPy, Flask, FastAPI) and AWS familiarity are essential, as is API development and distributed systems mindset.

Your Team's Impact 
 

The Regulatory Solutions Engineering team plays a critical role in strengthening our organization’s compliance posture by delivering robust, scalable systems that support sanctions screening, exclusion monitoring, and solvency risk management. Our team builds and maintains high‑integrity platforms that ensure regulatory obligations are met reliably and efficiently across global jurisdictions.

Leveraging modern engineering practices, automation, and cloud‑native technologies, we help the business navigate complex regulatory landscapes with accuracy and speed. We partner closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to translate evolving regulatory requirements into secure, maintainable, and high‑performance solutions to our clients.

Location: Hyderabad

Work Arrangement: Hybrid Setup

What You'll Do

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering principles.

  • Ensure that deployed products are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle and participate in on-call responsibilities.

  • Participate in design and code reviews across multiple projects and teams.

  • Be a quick learner, open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.

  • Make strong technical contributions to projects within the team with a focus on new enhancements, stability, and performance.

  • Be self-driven, collaborating closely with the team lead, and take responsibility for independent project execution.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.

  • 3-4 years of overall industry experience.

  • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Python (3+ years of experience).

  • Good understanding of GenAI concepts and AI coding tools.

  • Hands-on experience on python libraries like Pandas, NumPy and Flask.

  • Working experience on FastAPI.

  • Experience with scalable and distributed systems.

  • Working experience on AWS services, Lambda, EC2, S3, AWS Glue etc.

  • Proficiency with object-oriented design principles.

  • Working experience on APIs is a must.

  • Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
     

Desired

  • Experience with any web tech stack.

  • Experience or knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools like GitHub and Jenkins.

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and their deployment methodologies.

  • Experience in automating application deployments with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
