The Role
As a Manager of Quantitative Analysis within the Model Assurance, Testing & Controls team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the firm and its clients by ensuring the integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of models used to detect and prevent financial crime. You will be leading technical initiatives that enable and streamline Model Risk Management (MRM) reviews and supporting development that upholds principles of transparency, reproducibility, and sound model design. Work with us to uphold strong standards in financial crime prevention.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Your Python skills, combined with your experience with Snowflake and other database platforms, make you a significant contributor. You have a firm grasp of statistical modeling and machine learning ideas along with a familiarity of MRM principles and regulatory requirements. You’re looking to apply your cryptocurrency and blockchain technology experience to risk controls, ensuring transactions remain safe, compliant, and customer focused. You’re eager to learn and apply large language models (LLMs) along with traditional development approaches to boost productivity. Your capacity to handle several projects effectively and your strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
BS/BA or MS/MA degree in quantitative finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Skilled in writing and understanding SQL across multiple database types, with an emphasis on Snowflake. Familiarity with SnowSQL and Snowpark for data handling and replication is a plus.
Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and testing frameworks.
Knowledge of principles related to managing model risk and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
