We are currently seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. 

 

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will: 

• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest & Playwright, tailored for Fortinet’s cloud-based (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
• Lead the development of robust, scalable test automation infrastructure, ensuring high coverage and fast feedback cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, DevOps, and QA) to define, review, and validate quality requirements across the development lifecycle.
• Design and execute test plans, test suites, and scripts to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Build and optimize load and performance testing frameworks to ensure our products meet enterprise-grade standards.
• Implement monitoring and observability for test and production environments using Grafana, DataDog, or similar tools.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation efficiency, and CI/CD integrations to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.
• Analyze and report quality metrics, test results, and defects, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and help establish best practices in automation and quality engineering.

We Are Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer in both frontend and backend, including test infrastructure design and automation framework development.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools for UI and integration testing.
• Experience with Python & Pytest in automation and quality assurance contexts.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale automation systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, performance, and scalability).
• Hands-on experience with API testing, web automation, and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/UDP, routing) and cybersecurity concepts (VPNs, firewalls).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluent English – reading and writing.
