About This Role

Hudson River Trading is seeking an Electronic Trading Support Engineer to join our Trade Operations team. You will help ensure the smooth operation of our electronic trading systems and provide critical support to trading teams. The role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, and improving trading infrastructure and processes.

Locations include Austin, Chicago, Dublin, and New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support for electronic trading systems.
• Monitor trading platforms and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain tools to improve monitoring and support capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electronic trading systems or financial technology is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and networking concepts.
• Programming or scripting experience (Python or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
