AI Engineer - Senior Associate at KPMG joins the Audit Technology Alliance to develop and implement core components of generative AI solutions and build scalable features aligned with business needs. KPMG is currently seeking an AI Engineer to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement core components of generative AI solutions; build robust, scalable features aligned with business requirements
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand feature requirements and contribute to the technical design of AI agents and orchestration patterns
  • Ensure code quality and reliability by writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and utilizing enhanced evaluation frameworks
  • Drive product advancements by developing RAG pipelines, context engineering modules, and integrations with services like Azure AI Search and Databricks
  • Deploy and maintain AI microservices by optimizing performance and scalability that meets high standards
  • Engage in agile development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in software engineering with demonstrated success in building and deploying AI or data-intensive applications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field is preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong programming skills in Python; experienced with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
  • Skilled within an agile environment using SDLC tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
  • Knowledgeable in cloud platforms, preferably Azure; familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively within a team(200TEC)
