KPMG is seeking a Senior Engineer, Full Stack Developer to join the Tax Ignition group in a hybrid role. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting scalable microservices for model inference on Azure, and developing client-facing web applications using Angular and TypeScript, with backend services in Python or .NET/C#. You will translate business needs into AI-powered features and APIs in collaboration with product owners and data scientists, and integrate AI services such as Azure OpenAI. A minimum of three years of software development and systems architecture experience is required.

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Engineer, Full Stack Developer to join our Tax Ignition group. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to translate business needs into AI‑powered features and APIs

Design, implement, and support scalable microservices for model inference on Azure or comparable platforms; create tools to facilitate feature delivery, including automation, testing, and debugging solutions

Develop, support, and test client-facing web applications using Angular and TypeScript, as well as backend services and APIs built with Python or .NET Framework/C#; design and secure SQL databases, including schema creation and stored procedure development, while ensuring overall application quality

Leverage Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL Database, DevOps) for deployment, scaling and monitoring

Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI services (such as Azure OpenAI, Custom Models Serving) into our front‑end and back‑end systems

Qualifications:

Minimum three years of recent experience in software development and systems architecture

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred

Solid understanding of software engineering such as microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization

Experience building enterprise systems using Python, .NET, C#, Angular, SQL and Azure is preferred

Strong communication and analytical skills are required, strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn) is preferred
