Role profile: Experienced software engineer focused on productionizing data science solutions and building innovative products for financial professionals using cutting-edge tech. You will design and develop scalable software products, solve complex technical issues, and provide strategic insights to partners to support project goals and timelines. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that requires collaboration with Data Science, research and product teams and the ability to uphold high technical standards. You will productionize ML solutions and work with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, to enable scalable delivery.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Design and development of scalable software products. 

  • Solve complex technical issues, optimize workflows, and provide strategic insights to partners to support project goals and timelines.  

  • Collaborate closely with Data Science, research and product teams  

  • Set high technical standards 

  • This is a hands-on, individual contributor role 

 

What you'll bring: 

Essential skills:  

  • Expert-level Python skills  

  • Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on designing and implementing high-performance, scalable systems.  

  • Experience working cross functionally with Product and Research teams 

  • Experience in cloud technologies (emphasis on Azure) and deployment practices, ensuring seamless and scalable delivery.  

  • Experience working with ML and Data Science teams and productionizing ML solutions. 

  • Proven ability to uphold coding and design standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable code. 

  • Effective communication skills, with experience communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues  

  • Working knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring 

  • Experience in Fintech is a plus 

 

Education 

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or related field, or equivalent work experience
