You will join Iguazio as a Backend Tech Lead and lead a high-impact team driving innovation across our Data Science PaaS and open-source MLOps and GenAI projects. 

In this role, you’ll apply your leadership experience to shape and evolve a modern, rapidly maturing codebase, working deeply within the Kubernetes ecosystem and solving a range of complex infrastructure challenges. As both a people and technology leader, you’ll foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous learning. You’ll be responsible for mentoring and growing engineers, guiding key architectural decisions, and delivering scalable, production-grade solutions in Python and Go. You'll join a fast-moving team tackling real-world problems with cutting-edge technologies—and play a pivotal role in defining the future of AI in production.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: leading, mentoring, and growing a team of backend engineers working on Iguazio’s platform and open-source contributions; owning the delivery of key features and initiatives, from discovery and design through implementation and integration; driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with product and business goals; collaborating cross-functionally with product, QA, and data science teams to deliver a seamless ML and generative AI experience; encouraging engineering best practices, code quality, and operational excellence across the team; contributing hands-on to the codebase when needed, setting the technical bar and leading by example; and bringing in innovation and technical exploration in areas like distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.
