Join a Quant Technology team building high-performance systems for stress liquidity management, cash calculations and simulations used by Trading, Treasury and senior management. You will work with researchers to develop and maintain in-house models and build microservices to integrate them into the firm's cash management processes. The role requires strong engineering skills in Python and Go, experience with cloud technologies and CI/CD, and close collaboration with global teams. This position is on-site in the firm's Israel office (Ramat Gan / Tel Aviv area).

Quantitative Developer - Python/Go

We are assembling a strong Quant Technology team to help the firm with stress liquidity management, analysis and optimisation. This team will work with researchers to develop and maintain in-house models and with the wider technology organisation to integrate with and improve Firm cash management processes. This ambitious project has stakeholders across Trading, Treasury and top level Management and will require high-quality, high-performance engineering skills.

Our Israel office is located in the Bursa area of Ramat Gan.
This role will be on-site.

As a global firm, proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in the development and enhancement of the back-end distributed system, providing high performance and high availability margin and stress cash calculations and simulations to Senior Management, Portfolio Managers and Treasurers.
  • Work closely with Quant researchers and developers, tech teams, middle office and business management teams in London, New York, Tel Aviv & Miami.
  • Build micro services on top of in-house models and integrate it into the existing system, using the latest technologies.


Requirements

Must-have qualifications/skills:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience developing systems with Python/Golang and another OOP language (Java preferred).
  • B.A. in computer science or another quantitative field.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
  • Good understanding of Design Patterns, Algorithms & Data structures
  • Experience working with Git / GitHub and with CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, organised, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work.


​Nice-to-have qualifications/skills:

  • Knowledge of Treasury cash management and margin methodologies
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • Experience with database technologies (RDBMS, lake, caches)
