NVIDIA's Silicon Co-design Group (SCG) seeks a Circuit Calibration Design Engineer to join the Hardware Architecture Development (HW ArchDev) team. You will design architectures and algorithms for circuit calibration features, and model circuit behavior for both automated test equipment (ATE) and mission mode. You will define calibration software/firmware/tools and optimize calibration processes and costs, partnering with ATE or SW teams to integrate calibration into manufacturing test flows. You will also work to improve ATE-to-system correlation and account for PVT variations.

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-design Group (SCG) seeks a Circuit Calibration Design Engineer to join our Hardware Architecture Development (HW ArchDev) team. Joining the SCG team presents an outstanding chance to effectively engage in the entire product development cycle—from early architecture definition through bring-up to product release. The HW ArchDev team is central to all silicon and system-level feature development, tradeoff analysis, system integration solutions, and system Product of Record (POR) alignment.

What you will be doing:

  • Design architectures & algorithms for circuit calibration feature, characterize & model circuit behavior for both ATE and mission mode

  • Define circuit calibration software/firmware/tools, optimize calibration process and costs

  • Partner with ATE or SW team, integrate circuit calibration process into ATE or SW

  • Improve ATE to system correlation and circuit PVT variations

What we need to see:

  • MS with 4+ years or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), Systems Engineering, or a related field

  • Deep understanding of analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit principles, including noise analysis, stability, and PVT variations

  • Experience in designing calibration hardware and software algorithms, integrating calibration routines into high-volume manufacturing test flows

  • Expertise in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal analyzers) and automated test systems (ATE)

  • Knowledge of statistical methods to optimize calibration processes and reduce measurement uncertainty

  • Experience in creating new system tests or automation tools, good skills in Linux, Python, and Perl.

  • Excellent problem solving, collaborative and interpersonal skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background in pre-silicon/FPGA circuit feature validation, RTL design and verification

  • Experience in Post-Silicon validation, SW&HW feature development

  • Experience working with GPU/CPU/Memory/Analog system features and crafting test strategies.

Our team is at the forefront of innovation in silicon solutions, contributing to the development of groundbreaking technologies. We offer a dynamic work environment where your contributions will directly impact the company's success. Join us to advance your career in a role where you can truly make a difference. With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us, and due to unprecedented growth, our exclusive engineering teams are rapidly growing. If you're a creative and autonomous engineer with a real passion for technology, we want to hear from you!
