NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on Dense Reconstruction for autonomous vehicle simulation and training. You will develop a scalable 3D reconstruction system, conduct related research, and incorporate the latest advancements (e.g., 3D Gaussian splatting and feed-forward models) into production pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive the integration of 3D reconstruction capabilities into NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platforms. What you'll be doing:

  • Develop a scalable 3D reconstruction system to showcase our proficiency in autonomous simulation and training.

  • Engage in 3D reconstruction-related research and apply those findings in our autonomous real use cases.

  • Stay updated on the newest advancements in 3D reconstruction and incorporate them to improve our model and pipeline.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to successfully implement innovative solutions.

  • Drive the integration of 3D reconstruction capabilities into our world-class autonomous vehicle platforms.

What we need to see:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, AI or a related field.

  • Established proficiency in computer vision, focusing on gaussian splatting, visual language model, feed-forward model and advanced technologies.

  • More than 5 years of working experience on autonomous vehicle industry and simulation.

  • Strong proficiency in software development (C++, Python).

  • Outstanding build, coding, and debugging skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, excelling in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • Highly motivated, diligent, and passionate about embracing new technologies.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Demonstrated experience with LiDAR, Radar, camera, IMU, and other sensor technologies.

  • Comprehensive understanding of autonomous vehicle stacks or similar large systems, with hands-on experience integrating multiple components into one flawless solution.
