Lead a team of engineers in NVIDIA's NVOS (NVLink switch OS) development, providing technical guidance and empowering team productivity. Drive the design and implementation of new features in NVOS and facilitate planning, scheduling, and execution of projects. Collaborate with architecture and software design teams across the software development lifecycle, and provide support to internal and external NVOS customers. Develop a deep understanding of networking, debugging, and firmware/software interactions, and drive innovation to showcase NVIDIA networking products to customers.
NVIDIA is seeking an excellent Software Manager to join to NVOS (NVIDIA's NVLink switch OS) SW group in Yokneam Ilit. You will have the opportunity to lead a development team responsible for the software of the next-generation networking products while being hands-on with development activities. What you'll be doing:
Lead a team of engineers and provide technical guidance to the team of highly skilled engineers. Empower the team members to excel and increase team productivity.
Lead the design and implementation of new features in the NVOS (NVIDIA switch OS).
Drive and facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of the project and activities of the team
Collaborate with architecture and different software design teams as part of the software development lifecycle.
Support internal and external customers for any NVOS related items.
Gain a deep understanding of networking technology, system debugging, and stacks, as well as the SW/FW relationship.
Innovate! Bring NVIDIA’s Networking products to shine in the customer’s view
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering
3+ years of managerial experience
8+ overall years of relevant overall professional experience
Proven experience in networking.
Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and comfortable with multitasking in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
An excellent teammate with good social skills.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with SONiC OS.
Experience with AI tools for development or developing agents.
Background in switch and/or networking environment.
Experience with kernel.
Experience working with customers.
