Join OKX’s Strategy Service team within the Liquidity Platform to build and maintain the trading infrastructure that powers high-performance crypto trading strategies. You’ll develop and maintain critical microservices, design enterprise-grade distributed architectures, and advance our core strategy engine with a focus on low-latency backend and robust APIs. You will conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability across all systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions while staying current with industry trends in crypto trading.

About the Team
Join the dynamic Strategy Service team at OKX Liquidity Platform, where diversity fuels innovation! Our team is a vibrant mix of talents from various backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives to the table. We tackle the entire lifecycle of trading strategies, transforming ideas into impactful solutions across Java, Python and other low-latency platforms. We work closely with our desk developers to deliver cutting-edge features and continuous improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain a wide range of critical trading infrastructure microservices.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade micro-services and distributed architecture solutions.
- Develop and maintain our core strategy engine with a focus on high performance backend and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality standards.
- Ensure scalability, resiliency, and maintainability of all software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Demonstrate and implement security best practices across all development activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development.
What We Look For In You
- Solid STEM education background.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of scalability, resiliency, and maintainability principles.
- Strong proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking.
- Strong work ethic and ownership.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with WebSocket and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, SQL databases, docker and k8s is a plus.
- Knowledge of market microstructure of crypto trading is a plus.
