What you’ll do

  • Coordinate daily regional production coverage, ensuring all BAU support obligations are met across shifts and time zones.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical or operational issues, driving timely resolution in partnership with support and development teams.
  • Mentor and train team members on tools, processes, and best practices, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring service levels and project commitments are maintained.
  • Provide technical support for software applications and investigate, diagnose, and resolve application issues
  • Automate start-of-day and end-of-day checks for key applications.
  • Log and track incidents across applications in the production environment.
  • Implement monitoring and automation initiatives using Datadog and develop custom solutions using
  • Python, Shell, and/or Powershell scripts.
  • Create tactical support tools and scripts to improve the incident investigation process and enable transparency into potential business impacts.
  • Prioritize and categorize incidents based on severity and impact.
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve applications based on user feedback.
  • Create and maintain documentation for responding to common errors and application incidents.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of software applications.
  • Provide training and assistance to users to ensure effective use of applications and systems.
  • Develop knowledge base resources to empower users to independently resolve common problems.

What’s required

  • Prior proven experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory role within a technology operations or application support environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Support Middle and Backoffice applications created in .Net, Java, C# etc. Should know how to debug apps with help of code, logs, alerts etc.
  • Ability to write/read complex SQL procedures/queries as required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
