Qualcomm India is seeking a Hardware/BT/UWB validation and system integration engineer to support testing of HW IP and lower layer controller FW on pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon environments. The role involves interpreting wireless specifications and requirements, developing test cases in C, Python, TCL, and other scripting languages, and collaborating with BT hardware, FW/SW, SOC and systems teams to troubleshoot issues. You will analyze and support bug fixes during final stages of programs for customers, communicate status and issues to leads, and perform hardware/software debugging and test automation for connectivity products. The position is based in Bangalore (Bengaluru) and offers exposure to cross-disciplinary engineering work across SOC, hardware, and firmware.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.The BDC BT VI team are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to form an integral part of our BT/UWB validation and system integration team in Bangalore. The team will work closely with the BT HW (DD, DV, EMU), FW/SW, SOC and Systems teams across Geos. The team plays a pivotal role in testing HW IP and lower layer controller FW on pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon environment, system bring-up & integration for the company’s Connectivity products. Working within our team provides a unique opportunity to work across the engineering disciplines from high level SOC to low-level hardware/firmware. Typical tasks for the successful applicant would include:
· Interpreting wireless specifications and product requirements
· Developing test cases in C/python/TCL/.CMM or similar scripting language
· Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot HW/FW/SW issues and find solutions that are documented and shared with internal cross functional teams working on similar products.
· Analysis and support bug fixes during final stages of program to customers
· Communication of status/bugs/issues to leads
· Software and hardware debug of testing issues
· Working with other team members to plan development, testing and maintenance work
Minimum Qualifications:
· BTech with 1-5 years or MTech with 1-3 years of relevant experience -Preparable ECE
Attributes required:
·Proficient in C and python programming skills
· Technical background in wireless communication systems such as cellular, Bluetooth, UWB, WLAN and IEEE 802.15.4 with validation experience
· Familiar with Pre-Silicon and Post Silicon SOC Baremetal/FW based validations including power, performance associated and Automate test execution
· A good understanding of electronic hardware and reading schematics : Possess knowledge of standard lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzers, oscilloscope, Bluetooth tester, Protocol analyzers, and RF test equipment
· A good understanding Microcontrollers & Architectures: like Risc V, Andes, ARM
· Technical background in Interfaces: JTAG, J-Link, UART, SPI, I2C, I3C, USB
· Strong debugging skills at the hardware-software boundary using JTAG, serial consoles, and vendor tools
· Self-motivated, adaptable team player
· Comfortable with taking responsibility for their team
