Youth LAB is a paid international internship program at SEB Global Services in Riga. It lasts ten weeks and includes working on real and meaningful business projects, including a hackathon. You will receive a personal mentor who will support you throughout the internship. The Quant Development team is responsible for developing and maintaining risk-control technical solutions, and interns will gain software development experience in languages such as SQL, Python, C#, or Java and contribute to risk control systems.

The Quant Development team is responsible for developing and maintaining the technical solutions for risk control at SEB. Our work enables timely and accurate risk measurement and reporting processes, in the areas of market risk, counterparty risk and product control.

Your responsibilities will include: Software development in one or more of the following languages: SQL, Python, C# and/or Java. Implementing improvements to risk control systems. Investigating and fixing technical defects. Supporting daily operations of risk control systems.
To thrive in this role, we believe you should have: Interest in software development and best practices around it. Great communication skills and fluency in English. Work execution is related to foreign countries. Ability to learn quickly and continuously.

900 € - 1.100 € a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
