We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with big data technologies, containerization, automation, and CI\/CD practices, along with solid Linux system administration and scripting skills.
Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\u2022Maintain and improve the availability, performance, and reliability of critical infrastructure components including Elastic Stack, HDFS, Trino, and Tableau.
\u2022Develop and automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows to enable proactive issue detection and resolution.
\u2022Collaborate with development, data engineering, and analytics teams to deploy, configure, and optimize platform services.
\u2022Manage containerized environments using Podman or Docker for application deployment and orchestration.
\u2022Automate operational and deployment tasks using Bash scripting and Python to enhance efficiency.
\u2022Implement and maintain CI\/CD pipelines using Git and related tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
\u2022Utilize configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible (considered a plus) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
\u2022Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
