Key Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust REST APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or Django; leading feature development across backend, frontend, and database layers; and architecting PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexing, and migrations. The role requires enforcing code quality, implementing secure authentication/authorization, and driving CI/CD improvements, containerization with Docker, and Kubernetes adoption. You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decision records, and lead incident triage and root cause analysis with preventive improvements. You will also drive observability, performance profiling, and ensure alignment with security and compliance best practices.
