Responsible for modeling complex Exotic transactions and coordinating with Front Office and Middle/Back Office to ensure accurate booking and information quality across the trade capture process. You will analyze and regulate breaks raised by control functions, and collaborate on information requests and problem solving across the Front-to-Back chain. You will also participate in projects to improve security, reliability of the control framework and enhance production tools in VBA and Python (Booking, Pricing, Communication). The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or financial markets, initial experience in financial markets, advanced Excel/VBA and financial mathematics, strong interpersonal skills and English proficiency for US collaboration, with a hybrid work setup in Montreal.
ABOUT THE JOB:<\/strong><\/b><\/p> The aim of Global Business Service Unit (GBSU) Canada is to deliver day-to-day services to Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate their transformation. GBSU differentiates itself from competitors with the pace of the agile transformation delivered, spreading the technology and data culture, shortening the decision-making process, and adopting a true industrial approach, leveraging on different teams either transversal or aligned to the different sub business units.<\/p> Within the Trade Support Unit department, of Operations direction, the service Trade Capture (Transaction Modeling) oversees booking transactions in the information systems under delegation of the Front Office<\/p> Within Societe Generale, you will join the pole Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), in charge of activities of financing and investment banking, private banking, asset management and securities.<\/p> Our teams guarantee the quality and the reliability of transactions negotiated on all financial worldwide.<\/p> What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?<\/strong><\/b><\/p> In this context, and in close relationship with the Front Office and all Support functions (Middle-Office, Back-Office, Risk Department, Finance Department, Market Activity Indicators Department, Information Systems Department\u2026), you will oversee the following
