Join Wells Fargo's Supply Chain Software Engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain software configurations within COTS supply chain solutions. The role focuses on optimizing, scaling, and aligning supply chain applications with business requirements, using configuration and custom code to extend COTS platforms. You will lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to large-scale planning, and collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical challenges. This position requires strong software engineering experience (4+ years) and experience with REST APIs, SQL/SAS, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

About this role:

Our  Supply Chain Software Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software configurations within Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) supply chain solutions. This role ensures that supply chain applications are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, an understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to customize and extend COTS platforms through configuration and code.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience configuring Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Solutions, in particular for Third-Party Risk Management and Master Data Management.
  • 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain Enterprise Solutions
  • 5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
  • 5+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • 3+ Source code Management (DevOPS): GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation Server)
  • 3+ years of MS Visual Studio and Python coding experience
  • Experience with testing tools such as Playwright and Selenium
  • Developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API), such as with XML, REST or JSON
  • Experience using Proxy service while consuming API (APIGee, RISE) and Ability to update APIGee api proxies
  • SAS, SQL, or other data management, reporting and query
  • Source code Management (DevOPS): GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation Server)
  • SQL ability to create and maintain SQL objects (schemas, roles, stored procedures, views , etc)
  • Agile project methodology
  • JIRA
  • Autosys
