Join OKX's X Layer team as a Staff Engineer focused on Rust blockchain development. You will design, implement, and maintain the public X Layer chain, optimize on-chain infrastructure, and support hackathon events to drive innovation within the X Layer community and contribute to OP Stack development. You will collaborate with product and marketing to define technical solutions for the public chain and stay up-to-date with cutting-edge blockchain technologies to build world-class on-chain infrastructure.

Team Profile

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join the X Layer team. As a blockchain developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the X Layer public chain. Additionally, you will support hackathon events to drive innovation and collaboration within the X Layer community and participate in the development of OP Stack.

Roles & Responsibilities

Optimize X Layer performance, enhance on-chain infrastructure, and develop related products.
Stay up to date with cutting-edge blockchain technologies and establish a world-class on-chain infrastructure.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to define and implement technical solutions for the public chain and provide necessary technical support.

Requirements

Proficiency in Rust, with experience reading core code of major public chains or L2 solutions (e.g., ETH, Optimism, Arbitrum), with solid expertise in OP Stack; familiarity with Reth is a strong plus.
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including Consensus Mechanisms, P2P Networks, and Cryptography.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and logical thinking skills.
A deep passion for blockchain technology with a commitment to continuous learning.
