LOCATION: Singapore CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore INTERNSHIP DURATION: The internship will begin on either 4 May 2026 or 20 July 2026, and will end on 4 Dec 2026. There is an option to extend the internship, with the extended period concluding on a fixed date of 18 Dec 2026. Intern- Automation of PDM processes WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: As a Co-op/Intern you can get hands-on experience and make an immediate contribution to AMD's next generation of technology innovations. The Product Data Management (PDM) team is responsible for processing manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM), enabling systems to support disruptive technology products, establishing Master Data principles and guidelines, and driving business process improvements through automation. PDM has a high level of exposure interfacing with Business Units, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Product Engineering, Procurement, Packaging, Design Team, Test Team, Agile IT, Product Management, Fab Technology Operations, OSATs, and other teams. Your contributions will span multiple PDM areas, and as a key team member, you will have significant deliverables to help us achieve our overall product goals. PROJECT OVERVIEW: Create a model to enhance the BOM processes KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Bill of Material (BOM) records throughout the full product lifecycle for microprocessors and graphics processors. Drive data quality and automation efforts by leveraging RPA and AI technologies. Collaborate with product data owners and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data in PLM systems for complex semiconductor products. Contribute to process-improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, reducing costs, and improving cycle times. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR: A self-motivated individual with an eye for details and able to cope with the steep learning curve, and be resourceful and inquisitive about new technologies. Data Analytics/Visualization Business Process Optimization Successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to learn about the manufacturing process. Ability to manage your time effectively and ability to multitask RELEVANT SKILLSETS: Training will be provided on Product Data Management (PDM) processes and PLM. Programming/Query Languages: SQL. Software & Tools: Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira), Microsoft Suite (Visio, Office, Power BI), PLM/PDM systems (Agile PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, Enovia). ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Degree in Computer Science; Business Analytics and Data Science.
