Job Purpose

We are looking for a Software Developer – Oracle PL/SQL to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of new Oracle applications and the support of existing ones using SQL and PL/SQL. You will participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of projects, working both independently and collaboratively within a broader team.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deliver application components or complete solutions
• Collaborate with business users in cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by adding new features and troubleshooting issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Manage incidents and first-level day-to-day support to end-users
• Follow best practices in coding, deployment and testing

What you bring

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or other related field
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
• Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Preferred experience with Oracle Application Express (ApEx) and RESTful Services (ORDS)
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
• Experience with the insurance or financial sector will be considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
