Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with product strategy and execution.
- Experience managing products from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with relational databases, or cloud technology.
- Ability to work with executives, product leaders, and executive engineering leaders across Google.

As a Product Manager in Cloud SQL for MySQL, you will be responsible for driving strategy and execution of key areas of the product, enable customers to be successful with the service, and drive GTM activities to drive business growth and increased adoption. You will contribute to the strategy of Cloud SQL for MySQL, driving new innovations to help our customers get the most out of their data while enabling new use cases like generative AI.

Responsibilities
- Build a clear understanding of database technologies, market trends, and customer requirements, then use product insights to drive product strategy. Interact with customers and partners to understand their key requirements and help define a multi-year product roadmap.
- Drive product development of innovative new capabilities, collaborating closely with Engineering, User Experience Design, Finance, Product Operations, Marketing, and Field teams.
- Collaborate closely across teams to drive positioning, pricing, and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for our launches. Partner with the GTM team to scale the GTM activities for Cloud SQL for MySQL.
