Develop and implement advanced query features for Google's F1 Execution Kernel to provide a fast, reliable way to query structured data across multiple data sources. Collaborate on enhancing the F1 Execution Kernel and Unified Threat Management (UTM) to improve data processing and analytics performance in the Gemini era. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing as a key member of the team. Requires at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with around 2 years of software development experience in C/C++, Java, Python or Go, and familiarity with relational databases and query processing.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C/C++, Java, Python or Go.
- Experience designing and developing relational databases, data base internals, transactional systems, query processing and query optimization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in Advanced Analytics and SQL (specifically GoogleSQL).
- Experience with API and language design.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Enhance F1 Execution Kernel with advanced query features, making them accessible across all data sources and query stacks, including F1 and Table Services.
- Enhance the F1 Execution Kernel and Unified Threat Management (UTM) to boost data processing and analysis efficiency within the Gemini era.
- Contribute as a key member of the team, actively participating in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
