Join Amazon Transportation Services as a Business Analyst focused on Relay Supply Products and Technology. You will own design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions, pulling data from multiple sources and presenting actionable insights. You will improve corporate reporting frameworks, build data visualizations, and develop metrics and business cases to enable better decision making, while partnering cross-functionally with researchers and business leaders. You will own projects end-to-end and influence operational best practices as the team scales.

This position will require working cross-functionally and with a diverse set of stakeholders.

As you further your career as a Business Analyst at Amazon, you will focus on improving corporate reporting frameworks and data visualization. You will analyze performance data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics and business cases to improve decision making. We are focused on your success and want to build strong leaders within Amazon Transportation Services. You can expect to leverage your analytical skills and have full ownership of the projects you work on.



Key job responsibilities
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, and analyses, to drive key business decisions
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Define the data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities, and work cross-functionally with other research teams when needed
• Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow
• Develop standardized metrics to evaluate and benchmark pertaining to Click-Stream KPIs and reoccurring Adhoc needs
• Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions
• Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing


About the team
We are a team of product managers and BA's, who work closely with SDE's, research scientists and business leaders.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in transportation and supply chain

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
