Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) - MENA is seeking a Business Analyst to design and maintain dashboards, support forecasting and capacity planning, and identify root causes of operational inefficiencies across UAE markets. You will surface performance trends, quantify business impact, and present executive-ready insights to leaders. The role emphasizes data quality, cross-functional partnership with Operations, PMs and central teams, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Our team, Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) – MENA, supports the rapid-delivery grocery and convenience business across the Middle East and North Africa. We partner closely with regional stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, Instock, Pricing, Marketing, and Last-Mile Delivery to drive best-in-class customer experience in ultra-fast commerce.

The ideal candidate will perform deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies, develop data-backed recommendations, and build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that enable leadership to monitor performance in near real time. This role will also support forecasting and capacity planning to ensure service-level targets are met while balancing cost and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with regional and country teams to ensure data accuracy, surface performance trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Amazon Now markets.

Key job responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain operational dashboards and reporting to track core Quick Commerce metrics (e.g., service levels, speed, efficiency, capacity utilization)

Support short-term and mid-term planning and forecasting for demand, capacity, and operational resources

Drive visibility into actual vs expected performance, enabling real-time and retrospective performance management

Monitor and analyze efficiency and quality metrics across stores, regions, and countries

Conduct root-cause analyses on performance gaps and operational misses, and quantify business impact

Partner with Operations Managers (OMs), Program Managers (PMs), and central teams to support business reviews, WBRs, and deep dives

Communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders through executive-ready narratives and recommendations

Ensure data quality, consistency, and metric definitions across reporting and analytical outputs

Proactively identify trends and risks that may impact customer experience, speed, or cost

Develop and recommend process optimization and efficiency improvements across the Amazon Now operating model

Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on-time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate)
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience working with data mining on large datasets
- Experience within business analyst, data analyst or similar role (including internships)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
